Annabelle’s Place @ Lembah Permai, Tanjung Bungah

Read my second visit to Annabelle’s Place.

High tea, anyone?

I had this ”high tea” brunch with Mr Bear after I’ve just finished working one whole night!! A good treat to myself and we both were really enjoyed this lazy and relaxing Sunday @ Annabelle’s Place.

Windsor Tea for Two

3 tiered dessert stand served fruits, pastries, scones with cream and fruit jam, cakes and finger sandwiches. (RM35.90)

This is for two persons with 2 choices of teas. We opted for English breakfast tea and added on RM3 for blooming tea. The Windsor tea for one is also available, priced at RM17++.

The scones tasted good with more cream and little jam on top, Annabelle said. The scones here are rather chewy, very nice and the cakes are so adorable and delicious!! The softness of the carrot cake is perfect and the chocolate cake, is so rich of chocolate and it heavenly melted into my mouth!

Chicken Bolognese

This is yummy with generous parmesan cheese served separately, Mr bear liked it. I found this is a little bit dry to my liking but still delectable.

Tiramisu

This house specialty made from mascarpone cheese, savoiardi (ladyfingers), and espresso coffee powder. (RM9.90)

I brought this home, with open deposit of RM3 for the ramekin (You can return it back the next time you drop by Annabelle’s Place). Well, I’m not sure if that is because of bringing home I found the tiramisu is just OK to me, I can have a better one, like in Fish Market and Italianese.

The Bill

Notice anything… …? No tax and extra charges!! Worth it for the good food and good service. Definitely, we will come back again. (Yea for sure, I have to return back the ramekin. hehe!!)

i think it’s a bit expensive, it’s only high tea u know! with around RM33 per person, you can get better food out there. but ok for u, since u r quite rich. hahaha.

my dear, the high tea set per person is RM17++. I should bring you there one day. Personally, I think Annabelle’s Place is better than Secret Recipe for the cakes and pastas.

    Good Luck Annabelle

Everything looks just right and you’ve moved Devon to your home country. But what about all that study you did at Exeter? Did we put you off the idea of being an Accountant full-time??

Ohh, Gordon, you know her? :)
