Wa si teochew nang (I’m teochew) and I love teochew cuisine especially this fried chives pancake (chives – 韭菜 in Chinese or kuchai in Malays), great for breakfast or tea time.

This is my mum’s signature!! We all love it, although it is a little bit greasy but i just couldn’t resist it. I love that pungent garlicky flavor. Drooling!!

Day One @ Cologne, Germany (I)

March 23, 2009 · Posted in Cologne · 6 Comments

To my surprise, it is far more popular than the hamburgers or sausages, a must have in Germany. Super duper delicious!!

Doner Pizza – (€3)

Flatbread wrapped with chicken and salad (Shredded lettuces, cabbages, tomatoes, onions, and cucumbers) with the choice of sauces either hot sauce (scharfe Soße), herb sauce (Kräutersoße), garlic sauce (Knoblauchsoße), or yoghurt (Joghurtsoße).
