Oriental Breakfast

Wa si teochew nang (I’m teochew) and I love teochew cuisine especially this fried chives pancake (chives – 韭菜 in Chinese or kuchai in Malays), great for breakfast or tea time.
This is my mum’s signature!! We all love it, although it is a little bit greasy but i just couldn’t resist it. I love that pungent garlicky flavor. Drooling!!

The Making

Ingredient: fresh shrimps, dried shrimps, Chinese chives, flour, potato starch and bits of salt.
The Perfect Match to Stimulate the Taste Bud

My all time favourite - Kampung Koh Garlic Chili Sauce.
