Lord Stow’s Bakery (安德鲁饼店) @ Coloane Town Square, Macau

August 20, 2010 · Posted in Macau · 1 Comment

Lord Stow’s Bakery – the creator of Macau’s iconic egg tart which is Portuguese in style but its filling is English-influenced.

The Secret of the Egg Tart
“The delight of a Lord Stow’s egg tart is all in the crispness of the flaky pastry set up in contrast with the rich creamy filling. Caramelized sugar gives the tart its slightly burnt appearance, which has become synonymous with Lord Stow’s egg tarts.”
