Ivy’s Kitchen @ Jalan Chow Thye, Penang
Penang Assam Laksa, RM5

This bowl of assam laksa didn’t disappoint me and was my main purpose of coming to Ivy’s Kitchen. Unlike most Penang laska which tend to be sweet, this one was an authentic one. Spicy and sour with lots of fish meats. Yummy!!
Nasi Lemak (Beef Rendang), RM8.50

From the menu: Beef Rendang served with plain rice/coconut rice, half a hard boiled egg, anchovies, peanuts, mixed pickles and papadam. (Set B)
Well, I still heart Madam Kwan’s nasi lemak even it cost double. This one wasn’t that bad, still consider good just that the rice smelled fragrance but bland when eating and kidda dry and hard.
Hoe Kee Chicken Rice (和记鸡饭团) @ Melaka
Talk about chicken rice ball, Chung Wah Coffee Shop and Hoe Kee Chicken Rice Ball are the prominent chicken rice shops in Melaka.
During my family trip, we visited Hoe Kee Chicken Rice Ball for early lunch which was a wise decision : p Later at lunch time, we saw a long long queue formed outside!!!

Chicken Rice Ball – RM10

Are those fish balls??
No, those are the famous chicken rice balls. The round rice balls were garlicky and flavorful, can just eat on its own. Yummm~!!
Chatterbox (港士港啡) @ One Utama, Petaling Jaya
This is another one of many Hong Kong style restaurants in Klang valley. Chatterbox is not my usual hangout, I was there to meet up my gal pals with Mr Bear. Unlike Kim Gary, one thing I like is the French toast which served with honey in little jar. You could then create your own taste of French toast by topping off the amount of honey you like. How nice!! : )
Good quality food but a bit pricy. The pictures say it all ^^
French Toast, 法兰西多士 – RM4.90
