Frankfurt Christmas Market @ Birmingham, UK

December 24, 2010 · Posted in UK · Comment

Birmingham’s Frankfurt Christmas Market is the largest outdoor Christmas Market in the country. Now in its 10th year. There are hundreds over stalls offering Christmas decorations, jewellery and craft goods. One can also enjoy the German beer, grilled sausages, pretzels and local snacks.

We went there twice. The second time, wasn’t fun at all. It was freaky cold!! Then I fall sick…till now…getting better, at least I can blogging :-)

Winter in UK

This is just my second time visiting UK as you know. (I mentioned it before :p) Coincidentally, I came here in Winter season each time. Ha!! :-)
It is so cold. When walking outside in Birmingham city, my nose started to feel uncomfortable. Luckily just a while, we quickly hopped into Costa Cofee : p

Sensitive Skin…
Sensitive Skin...

Same as last year, I couldn’t stand the dry and cold weather. My skin is too sensitive, previously was my hand hurt (Check it out here)  and now my leg >.<
I’ve already applied lotion every day, Body Shop, L’occitane…but still…sigh!! My leg has already so ugly with so many scars now because of this, even worst…Oh no…

The Farm @ Solihull, UK

December 17, 2010 · Posted in UK · 4 Comments

The Farm pub and restaurant in Solihull offers a wonderful social dining experience in an historic grade II listed farmhouse and barn.
The Inn at the Farm is a place of glamorous simplicity. Sit back, relax and enjoy a drink from a great range of beers, cask ales and wine, followed by a bite to eat from our fabulous bar food menu.

The Old Dairy Barn, circa 1700, with its striking vaulted ceiling, exposed beams and wealth of old world features, has a more upbeat feel. Offering the same excellent selection of drinks, the main restaurant (with a private dining room attached) offers some of the best food that Solihull and Warwickshire has to offer. When you add to this its famously posh salad bar, 25% discount for early diners and its’ sun-soaked deck you may never want to leave.”

Hello, UK!!

December 15, 2010 · Posted in UK · 2 Comments

I never thought I could visit UK again yet within a year after my Hong Kong trip and I even never thought of this time around, I fly alone again…
I think I’ve to get used to be alone and I should enjoy it, even I still hoping to have someone special to join me along the journey.

That’s OK, I told myself. Never mind (lah)… I could still have fun (“,)
This gonna be a month long vacation, visiting my sister and my very very smart and cute niece. Thanks to her hubby, I could celebrate my 1st ever Christmas in UK.
